…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Louisiana…Mississippi…Arkansas…

Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Concordia, Wilkinson and
Adams Counties.

Mississippi River Near Greenville affecting Issaquena, Chicot,
Washington and East Carroll Counties.

Mississippi River Near Arkansas City affecting Desha, Chicot,
Washington and Bolivar Counties.

Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Jefferson, Warren,
Madison, Claiborne and Tensas Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Vicksburg.

* WHEN…From Saturday evening to Wednesday, April 30.

* IMPACTS…At 48.0 feet, Culverts in South Vicksburg west of
Highway 61 South are full. Low lying businesses near the railroad
begin to take on water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 37.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Saturday evening and to a crest of 48.0 feet Sunday,
April 20.
– Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
