Flood Warning issued April 9 at 1:25PM EDT until April 11 at 12:55PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana…

White River.

.Major flooding continues on the White River. The crest on the White
Wednesday afternoon was near Edwardsport and forecast to reach
Petersburg Friday night and Hazleton Saturday. Spencer is expected
to fall below flood stage Thursday night, but Petersburg and
Hazleton will remain above flood stage through next week and into
the week of April 20.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…White River at Spencer.

* WHEN…Until early Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 21.0 feet, Prospect Park area, western outskirts, and
East Street begin to flood in Spencer.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 21.1 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:30 PM EDT Wednesday was 22.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 23.1 feet Monday evening.
It will then fall again but remain above flood stage.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
