Red Flag Warning issued April 9 at 2:00AM CDT until April 9 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD

The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 1 PM CDT /noon MDT/ this afternoon to 8 PM CDT /7 PM MDT/
this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA…In South Dakota, Corson, Campbell, McPherson,
Walworth, Edmunds and Dewey.

* WINDS…Northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 20 percent.

* IMPACTS…Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
difficult to control or suppress.
