Showers are expected to increase in coverage this afternoon across
then northern panhandle, bringing increased potential for
accumulating snow to the upper elevations of the Klondike Highway
and White Pass. Minor snow accumulations will be possible this
morning, with greatest likelihood for accumulating snow showers
Tuesday afternoon before diminishing into Tuesday night. Current
forecast snowfall accumulations up to 3 inches are expected,
however, forecast confidence remains low. Given isolated nature of
snow showers, some areas could see localized higher amounts while
other areas could miss out on some, if not all snow
accumulations.
