Periods of heavy snow will continue for Whittier, Portage and
eastern Turnagain Arm with several additional inches of snow
accumulation. Precipitation may stay all snow at higher
elevations, including the top of Turnagain Pass. If it does,
expect a total of 5 to 10 inches of snow for the pass.
Any snow on area roads will be slushy through the afternoon and
evening, with water likely ponding on roads due to the combination
of rain and snow melt. Slow down and use caution when driving.
