Winter Weather Advisory issued April 8 at 9:17PM AKDT until April 9 at 1:00PM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Snow. An additional 3 to 6 inches late this evening through
Wednesday morning. Storm total snow 5 to 10 inches.

* WHERE…SW Kenai Peninsula and Southern Kachemak Bay.

* WHEN…Until 1 PM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Areas of light snow will continue through
this evening before moderate snow develops late this evening and
continues through Wednesday morning. Total 24 hour storm total
snow of 5 to 10 inches is possible with the highest amounts along
the Homer Bluffs. Southwesterly winds will also increase early
Wednesday morning with gusts to 35 mph possible.

Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing. * WHEN...Until Sunday, April 27. * IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, Water is beginning to go over Loggerhead Lane going into Bordeaux Camp. Drum Cove is flooding, and Buffalo Drive is mostly covered. The south ends of Ricky Road and Brown Road are flooded, along with the street going out of Nel-Win Camp.
