…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois…

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and near Murphysboro

.Moderate flooding continues along the Big Muddy River. At
Plumfield, the river is currently cresting near 28.1 feet. At
Murphysboro, the river has crested and started a very slow fall.

For the Big Muddy River…including Plumfield, Murphysboro…
Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Big Muddy River near Murphysboro.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 36.0 feet, Damage begins to property near Shoemaker
Drive in Murphysboro. Evacuations may be needed to parts of a
mobile home park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 35.9 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM CDT Thursday was 36.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall to 26.4 feet
Thursday, April 17.
– Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
35.6 feet on 11/19/1993.
