White River from Spencer to Hazleton.
.Major flooding continues on the White River. The crest on the White
Thursday afternoon was just past Edwardsport and forecast to reach
Petersburg Saturday morning and Hazleton early Sunday morning.
Spencer is expected to fall below flood stage overnight, but
Petersburg and Hazleton will remain above flood stage through next
week and well into the week of April 20.

* IMPACTS…At 29.0 feet, During the January 2005 flood as the river
rose over 29 feet…many boils occurred in the Hazleton levee.
Extensive sandbagging was required to prevent levee failure.
