Flood Warning issued April 10 at 12:21PM EDT until April 11 at 3:18PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana…

White River from Spencer to Hazleton.

.Major flooding continues on the White River. The crest on the White
Thursday afternoon was just past Edwardsport and forecast to reach
Petersburg Saturday morning and Hazleton early Sunday morning.
Spencer is expected to fall below flood stage overnight, but
Petersburg and Hazleton will remain above flood stage through next
week and well into the week of April 20.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…White River at Spencer.

* WHEN…Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 19.0 feet, Road south of river gage begins to flood.
Gosport Road closes. Extensive agricultural flooding is in
progress. Moon Road in very rural northwest Monroe County is
extensively flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 19.3 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 AM EDT Thursday was 21.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tonight and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
