Flood Warning issued April 10 at 12:22PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois…Missouri…Kentucky…

Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau…Thebes…Hickman… and New
Madrid

.Minor to major flooding continues along the Mississippi River from
Cape Girardeau downstream to New Madrid. At Cape Girardeau to
Thebes, the water levels are now falling, and the river will fall
below flood stage at both locations on Saturday. At Hickman to New
Madrid, forecast crests have risen slightly and will now occur on
Saturday due to higher forecast flows from the Ohio River.

For the Mississippi River…including Cape Girardeau, Thebes,
Hickman, New Madrid…Minor to Major flooding is forecast.

– At 12:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 45.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 45.5
feet Saturday morning.
