Mississippi River at Memphis

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Memphis…Minor flooding
is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Memphis.

* WHEN…From Friday morning to Wednesday, April 23.

* IMPACTS…At 36.0 feet, In Tennessee, water is edging onto the
Fullen Dock area. Roads on the north side of the Loosahatchie
River near its mouth are beginning to flood. Riverside Park Marina
begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 32.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 36.0 feet early Wednesday
morning. It will then begin to fall slowly.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
