Flood Warning issued April 9 at 8:16PM CDT until April 11 at 8:42PM CDT by NWS Birmingham AL

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Alabama…

Alabama River At Montgomery affecting Autauga, Montgomery,
Lowndes, Elmore and Dallas Counties.

.Flooding continues on the Alabama River and a flood warning
remains in effect.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Alabama River at Montgomery.

* WHEN…Until Friday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 26.0 feet, Some flooding of low lying areas and
secondary roads begins in the Montgomery area. Flooding of the
golf course at Maxwell Air Force Base and portions of River Road
occurs at stages around 30 feet and higher.
At 35.0 feet, Extensive flooding of low lands in the area occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 36.6 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 36.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Friday morning and continue falling to 25.3 feet Monday
evening.
– Flood stage is 35.0 feet.

At 441 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles southeast of Bozeman to 18 miles east of Ennis. Movement was northwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar and webcam indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Heavy snow is falling for elevations above 6500 feet. Expect visibility below a half mile at times. Locations impacted include... Jeffers, Gallatin Gateway, Bozeman, Big Sky, and Ennis.

At 421 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles southwest of Ashland, or 32 miles south of Colstrip, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Ashland, Birney Village and Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.
