Special Weather Statement issued April 10 at 3:39PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY

At 339 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Mount Carmel to 7 miles southeast of Mount
Vernon. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Melody Hill, Haubstadt, Darmstadt, Fort Branch, Poseyville,
Blairsville, Mount Vernon, Cynthiana, Owensville, Kasson, Evansville,
Princeton, and Mount Carmel.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 69 in Indiana between Mile Markers 1 and 2.
Interstate 64 in Indiana between Mile Markers 8 and 28.
