Winter Weather Advisory issued April 9 at 12:45PM AKDT until April 10 at 10:00AM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Snow expected with visibility dropping to below 1/2 mile
during periods of moderate to heavy snow. For Turnagain Pass and
Whittier snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches. Portage Valley snow
accumulations of 6 to 10 inches. Girdwood valley snow
accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph in
Portage Valley and east Turnagain Arm.

* WHERE…East Turnagain Arm, Turnagain Pass, and West Prince
William Sound & Whittier.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM AKDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
