Flood Advisory issued April 11 at 2:10AM EDT until April 11 at 5:15AM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central North Carolina, including the
following counties, Cumberland, Hoke, Moore, Richmond and Scotland.

* WHEN…Until 515 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 210 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Fayetteville, Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Rockingham,
Raeford, Fort Bragg, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Hoffman, Antioch, Hope
Mills, Eastover, Pinebluff, Stedman, Dobbins Heights, Wagram,
Gibson, East Laurinburg, Bowmore and Silver City.

Warm and dry conditions are expected this afternoon. Coupled with breezy winds, conditions for fire are expected to be near critical. Areas along and east of I-29 are the most likely to experience near critical conditions. Humidity levels should decrease to 20-25% this afternoon as winds are weakening. Occasional gusts of 25-30 mph may create temporary periods of critical fire conditions.

* WHAT...Temperatures in the mid and upper 30s will result in frost formation. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
