Plumfield, the river has crested and is starting a slow fall. At
Murphysboro, the river has crested and started a slow fall.

For the Big Muddy River…including Plumfield, Murphysboro…
Moderate flooding is forecast.

forecast.

* WHERE…Big Muddy River near Murphysboro.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 34.0 feet, Areas around S 3rd & 4th Streets begin to
flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 34.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall to 25.0 feet Friday,
April 18.
– Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
