Special Weather Statement issued April 10 at 1:25PM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK

Periods of heavy snow showers will bring an additional 7 to 10
inches of snow in rural areas east of Kobuk. The heaviest snow
will fall on Friday morning as another shortwave aloft moves over
the area.

Travelers can expect periods of low visibility and rapidly
changing conditions.
