Special Weather Statement issued April 11 at 3:40PM EDT by NWS Columbia SC

At 340 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cassatt, or 14 miles northeast of Camden, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Chesterfield Ruby Middle School, Manville, Pageland, Turbeville,
Midway Elementary School, Cheraw, Wateree River Correctional
Institution, Woodrow, Central High School, Camden, Ashwood, Mulberry,
Mount Croghan, Alligator Fire Station, Dekalb, Bay Springs Fire
Station, Lakewood, Privateer, East Sumter, and South Sumter.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 93 and 125.
Interstate 95 between mile markers 127 and 146.
