Special Weather Statement issued April 11 at 4:44PM EDT by NWS Wilmington NC

At 443 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Wallace to near
Timmonsville to near Alcolu. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Mcleod Medical Center, Blue Brick, Hamer, Dillon, Florence,
Brownsville, Cades, Darlington Raceway, Swift Creek, Tatum, Sellers,
Chavistown, Floyd, New Hope, Minturn, Coward, Carolinas Hospital
System, Mcleod Regional Medical Center, Mccoll, and Raemon.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 20 between mile markers 133 and 141.
Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers 147 and 198.
Interstate 95 in North Carolina between mile markers 1 and 2.
