Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE…Black River at Black Rock.
* WHEN…Until further notice.
* IMPACTS…At 25.0 feet, State Highway 37 will probably flood on
west side of Black River. State Highway 25 south of Black Rock and
State Highway 69 near Jacksonport may be partially flooded. Water
will be in portions of Powhatan State Park. Extensive cropland
flooding, flooding classified as moderate.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 25.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river has crested and is expected to continue
to slowly fall to 20.0 feet Wednesday evening.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
