For the Little River…including Rivervale…Major flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE…Right Hand Chute Little River at Rivervale.

* WHEN…Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 14.0 feet, Widespread flooding is occurring. Some
evacuations may be necessary. Several roads between Rivervale and
Big Lake Wildlife Refuge are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.4 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM CDT Friday was 15.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Tuesday evening and continue falling to 9.1 feet Wednesday
evening.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
