* WHEN…From late Tuesday night to Friday, May 02.
* IMPACTS…At 40.0 feet, The grounds of the older part of Louisiana
State University’s campus become soggy. This includes the area
around the Veterinary Medicine building, the Veterinary Medicine
Annex, the stadium and ball fields. The city of Baton Rouge and
the main LSU campus are protected by levees at this level.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 31.4 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 29.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Wednesday morning to a crest of 40.6 feet Wednesday,
April 23. It will then fall below flood stage Friday, May 02.
