…The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Louisiana…

Atchafalaya River At Simmesport

Atchafalaya River Above Butte La Rose

Atchafalaya River At Morgan City

* WHAT…Flooding is possible.

* WHERE…Atchafalaya River at Morgan City.

* WHEN…From Saturday evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 7.0 feet, Buildings at the foot of Ann Street on the
river side of the flood wall will flood as water overtops the Rio
Oil Company dock. Buildings on the river side of the Berwick
floodwall will flood. River traffic restrictions will be strictly
enforced. In addition, backwater flooding could potentially impact
portions areas around Lake Palourde and Stephensville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 3.7 feet.
– Forecast…Flood stage may be reached Saturday, April 19.
– Flood stage is 6.0 feet.
