ELEVATED FIRE DANGER…

The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a Fire Weather
Warning for low humidity, breezy westerly winds, and moderate
significant fire potential expected this afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay Ruskin has issued a Red
Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM EDT this
evening.

* AFFECTED AREA…Polk, Hardee, Highlands, DeSoto, Inland
Charlotte and Inland Lee.

* TIMING…From noon today to 8 PM EDT this evening.

* WINDS…Northwest 10 to 20 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 28 percent.

* IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
