Special Weather Statement issued April 11 at 11:09AM AKDT by NWS Juneau AK

A strong weather front moving into the Alaska Panhandle Saturday
night into Sunday brings increased potential for accumulating
snow to the upper elevations of the Klondike Highway and White
Pass. Current forecast snowfall accumulations up to 6 inches over
24 hours are possible, however forecast confidence remains low.
Due to rising snow levels and warming temperatures accompanying
the heavy precipitation rates there will likely be a mix of snow
and rain which would keep snow totals lower. If enough cold air
remains snow totals have potential to be higher.

This situation will be closely monitored for potential changes to
the official forecast.
