For the Lower Mississippi River…including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena…
Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Helena.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to Tuesday, April 22.

* IMPACTS…At 45.0 feet, In Mississippi, road to houses by the
river at Robson Towhead and the settlement by Old River Chute is
flooded. Settlement just east of Sunflower Cutoff is flooding.
Businesses on the south end of Slackwater Harbor are flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 43.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 45.0 feet early Thursday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday, April
21.
– Flood stage is 44.0 feet.
