For the North Fork Forked Deer River…including Dyersburg…Minor
flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE…North Fork of the Forked Deer at Dyersburg.

* WHEN…Until late Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Flooding is beginning in south Dyersburg.
Several homes in southeast Dyersburg are surrounded by water and
flood waters begin to cause access problems. Residents in this
area should take necessary precautions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 24.1 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 AM CDT Sunday was 25.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Tuesday morning and continue falling to 19.9 feet
Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
