* WHERE…Atchafalaya River at Simmesport.

* WHEN…From Thursday, April 24 to Friday, April 25.

* IMPACTS…At 40.0 feet, There will be flooding of areas inside the
levees of the atchafalya floodway. Considerable flooding in the
backwater storage area in Avoyelles Parish.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 29.5 feet.
– Forecast…Flood stage may be reached Thursday, April 24.
– Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
