Winter Weather Advisory issued April 12 at 3:55PM AKDT until April 13 at 1:00PM AKDT by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT…Snow and blowing expected. Storm total snow accumulations
of about 2 to 7 inches. North to northwest winds gusting as high
as 50-60 mph. Visibilities reduced to one-half mile or less at
times.

* WHERE…Eastern Aleutians.

* WHEN…Until 1 PM AKDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult. Areas of blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility at times. Strong winds may cause
damage or blow items around.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…We are currently in a break between storms as
of 4 PM Saturday. The worst conditions with the next system are
expected this evening through Sunday morning before conditions
begin to improve Sunday afternoon. Scattered snow showers will
continue to linger through Sunday afternoon.
