Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM CDT this evening. The Fire
Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA…In Iowa, Woodbury. In Nebraska, Dixon and
Dakota. In South Dakota, Gregory, Charles Mix, Bon Homme,
Yankton, Clay and Union.
* WINDS…Northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Locally
higher gusts may accompany isolated showers and thunderstorms
this afternoon.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…As low as 23 percent.
* IMPACTS…Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
