Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, Shawneetown, and Golconda.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Owensboro.

* WHEN…Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS…At 41.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs affecting mainly
bottomland and surrounding low lying areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 41.6 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday was 44.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this evening and continue falling to 19.0 feet Friday,
April 25.
– Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
