* WHAT…Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Shawneetown.

* WHEN…Until early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 52.0 feet, Several rural roads and houses are
isolated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 53.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday was 53.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Monday morning and continue falling to 21.3 feet Friday,
April 25.
– Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
