Ouachita River At Monroe affecting Ouachita, Caldwell and Union
Parishes.

For the Ouachita River…including Monroe…Moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Ouachita River at Monroe.

* WHEN…From late Friday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 43.0 feet, The Bawcomville and Moon Lake recreational
areas flood and close.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 32.7 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 40.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Saturday morning and continue rising to 43.0 feet
Monday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
– Flood stage is 40.0 feet.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Automated Weather Station. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Ord, Loup City, Scotia, Fort Hartsuff State Park, Litchfield, Sherman Reservoir Dam, Lexington, Smithfield, Arcadia, Overton, Cozad, Sumner, Miller, Farnam, Elwood, and North Loup. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 212 and 248.

Special Weather Statement issued April 21 at 3:53PM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

Scattered thunderstorms moving southeast over much of North Central and Central Montana east of the Rocky Mountain Front will continue through at least the afternoon hours. These storms are producing isolated cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, brief heavy rainfall, wind gusts to 40 mph, and small hail or graupel. These storms may also produce brief cold air funnels, which are mostly harmless. However, if they briefly touch down as landspouts, they may cause even stronger winds gusts or possibly some minor damage to trees or structures.
