Ohio River at Smithland Dam, Paducah, Olmsted Lock and Dam and
Cairo.

.The Ohio River is expected to crest at Smithland and Paducah
Wednesday, and hold steady at Olmsted and Cairo until Wednesday,
then begin a slow fall.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Ohio River at Cairo.

* WHEN…Until Thursday, April 24.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 52.3 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 52.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Wednesday, April 23 and continue falling to 34.1 feet Friday,
April 25.
– Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
