Arkansas…Mississippi…Tennessee…

Mississippi River at Memphis

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Memphis…Minor flooding
is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Memphis.

* WHEN…Until Friday, April 25.

* IMPACTS…At 37.0 feet, In Arkansas, the grain terminal and nearby
businesses south of West Memphis are being covered by water. At
Memphis, the fuel facility south of the river gauge is flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 37.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river will remain fairly steady through early
next week. It will then begin to slowly fall and is expected
to fall below flood stage Thursday, April 24.
– Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
