A sunshine-filled day can be expected across the state as high pressure continues over the Gulf Coast (near-zero chance of rain).
The dry air mass over the state will persist allowing for relative humidity values to fallnear and below critical thresholds (20-35%) this afternoon throughout the Big Bend, Northeast Florida and interior Central Florida.
Light winds and wind gusts upwards of 10-15 mph will develop throughout the day, which will remain below Red Flag conditions.
Stronger wind gustsupwards of 20 mph cannot be ruled out closer towards the coast due to the sea breeze.
Sensitive to elevated wildfire conditions can be expected to develop this afternoon, with the more elevated threat across interior Central Florida due to ongoing wildfire conditions.
High temperatures will steadily climb into the upper 70s to upper 80s this afternoon with plenty of sunshine.
Dry and calm conditions can be expected to persist overnight.
Low temperatures will fall into the 50s across North Florida, upper 50s to middle 60s across Central Florida and 60s to lower 70s across South Florida overnight.
Calm marine conditions near 1′ can be expected across Panhandle and Gulf Coast beaches, but amoderate risk for rip currents can be expected along Panhandle beaches.
Elevated surf near 2-3′ and amoderate risk for rip currents will persist along East Coast beaches.
