…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana…
Illinois…

White River at Petersburg and Hazleton.

Wabash River from Hutsonville to Mount Carmel.

.Moderate Flooding will come to an end on the White River at
Petersburg and Hazleton by the end of today…and on the Wabash
River at Mount Carmel on Friday. Meanwhile minor flooding could end
on both the lower White and lower Wabash this weekend. However,
significant rainfall over the weekend could both lengthen the amount
of time in flood as well as redevelop flooding in areas where it has
already ended.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Wabash River at Mount Carmel.

* WHEN…Until Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 28.0 feet, Critical Stage of Rochester-Mcleary Bluff
Levee. Cattle and farm equipment must be moved. Most roads along
river or near river are now impassible. Agricultural losses 100
percent in areas that are not protected by levees. The Wabash
River is more than 2 miles wide at I-64.

– At 12:00 PM EDT Wednesday /11:00 AM CDT Wednesday/ the stage
was 28.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM EDT Wednesday /11:00 AM CDT Wednesday/ was
29.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Sunday morning.
– Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
