* WHAT…Flooding is possible.

* WHERE…Atchafalaya River at Simmesport.

* WHEN…From Saturday, April 26 to Sunday, April 27.

* IMPACTS…At 40.0 feet, There will be flooding of areas inside the
levees of the Atchafalaya floodway. Considerable flooding in the
backwater storage area in Avoyelles Parish.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 31.7 feet.
– Forecast…Flood stage may be reached Saturday, April 26.
– Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
