Winter Storm Warning issued April 16 at 2:01PM MDT until April 18 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
accumulations between 5 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40
mph.

* WHERE…Livingston Area, Northern Carbon, Northern Stillwater, and
Northern Sweet Grass.

* WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to midnight MDT Thursday Night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult including Interstate 90.
Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening
commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Precipitation will begin as rain then change
to wet snow this evening. Heaviest snow is expected to fall
tonight through Thursday. Snow accumulations will be elevation
dependent with higher elevations seeing more significant
accumulations.
