Winter Storm Warning issued April 16 at 2:13PM MDT until April 18 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Snow accumulations between 1 and 4
inches, with up to 10 inches in the higher terrain. Winds gusting
as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE…Big Belt, Bridger, Castle, Centennial Mountains and the
Mountains in Gallatin and Madison Counties.

* WHEN…Until midnight MDT Thursday Night.

* IMPACTS…Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if
traveling through mountain passes. Blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heaviest snowfall rates are expected between
midnight tonight and 6 AM Thursday.
