Winter Storm Warning issued April 16 at 3:00AM MDT until April 17 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Southern Rocky Mountain Front.

* WHEN…From 6 AM this morning to midnight MDT tonight.

* IMPACTS…Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if
traveling through mountain passes. Widespread blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snowfall rates up to one inch per hour are
expected this afternoon with associated low visibility and quick
accumulation of snow and slush on roads.
