Winter Storm Warning issued April 16 at 3:00AM MDT until April 18 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Great Falls MT

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
9 inches over Norris Hill with 2 to 5 inches along the MAdison
River Valley. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Madison River Valley and Norris Hill.

* WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to midnight MDT Thursday Night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring
down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Heaviest snowfall rates are expected between
midnight tonight and 6 AM Thursday.
