Blowing Dust Advisory issued April 17 at 2:23PM MDT until April 17 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa NM

* WHAT…For the High Wind Warning, southwest winds 25 to 35 mph
with gusts up to 55 mph. For the first Blowing Dust Advisory,
visibility between one-quarter and one mile in blowing dust. For
the second Blowing Dust Advisory, visibility between one-quarter
and one mile in blowing dust expected. For the Wind Advisory,
southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE…West Central Tularosa Basin/White Sands.

* WHEN…For the High Wind Warning and first Blowing Dust Advisory,
until 8 PM MDT this evening. For the second Blowing Dust Advisory
and Wind Advisory, from 11 AM to 8 PM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility.
Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread
power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially
for high profile vehicles. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured
objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages
may result.
