Special Weather Statement issued April 17 at 5:19PM CDT by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN

At 519 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Warsaw to over Minnesota Lake, or
extending from 9 miles southwest of Faribault to 24 miles northwest
of Albert Lea, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Owatonna, Waseca, Wells, Medford, New Richland, Minnesota Lake,
Hartland, Freeborn, Waldorf, Easton, Otisco, Lemond, Clinton
Falls, Hope, Deerfield, Matawan and Owatonna Airport.
