Winter Storm Watch issued April 17 at 3:05PM MDT until April 19 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 3 and
9 inches except up to 12 inches above 9000 feet possible.

* WHERE…Northern Mountains, Chuska Mountains, and Johnson and
Bartlett Mesas Including Raton Pass.

* WHEN…From Friday evening through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Tire chains may be
necessary if traveling through mountain passes. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
