Tennessee…Missouri…

Mississippi River Above Tiptonville

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Tiptonville…Minor
flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE…Mississippi River above Tiptonville.

* WHEN…Until late Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 43.0 feet, In Tennessee, Cates Landing-New Markham
Road is flooded just east of Pea Ridge Road, making evacuation
difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 41.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river will continue to fall slowly and is
expected to fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning.
– Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
