East Baton Rouge Parishes.

Mississippi River At Donaldsonville affecting Ascension Parish.

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Red River Landing, Baton
Rouge, Donaldsonville…Major flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Donaldsonville.

* WHEN…From Sunday afternoon to Saturday, May 03.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 25.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Sunday afternoon to a crest of 29.5 feet Saturday,
April 26. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday, May
03.
– Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
