The combination of winds gusting up to 26 mph, and warm
temperatures will allow for relative humidity values to reach the
mid to lower 20s this afternoon. This combination results in an
elevated fire danger this afternoon and evening.
Caution should be exercised to prevent fires…such as avoiding
smoking outdoors in fire prone areas…taking care to prevent
sparks from equipment or machinery from triggering fire
starts…and educating children about the dangers of playing with
fire.
