…LATE SEASON ACCUMULATING SNOW NEAR WHITE PASS…

.A front moving over the panhandle will create late season
accumulating snow near White Pass. The greatest snow accumulation
will occur tonight with rates decreasing before Friday morning.
Increasing temperatures behind the front will create snow
character that is wet and heavy.

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6
inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Klondike Highway near White Pass.

* WHEN…Until 6 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Wet, heavy snow expected from this
incoming front.
