Winter Storm Warning issued April 18 at 2:19PM MDT until April 20 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations 5 to 10
inches, with up to 1 foot possible over the peaks. Winds gusting
as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Mountains, and Johnson and Bartlett Mesas
Including Raton Pass.

* WHEN…From 6 PM this evening to midnight MDT Saturday Night.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Tire chains may be
necessary if traveling through mountain passes. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
